Are you ready to experience optimal health, longevity, vibrancy and vitality. These 75 min yoga inspired classes will use a 3-Dimensional approach to our health and well-being. We will be “feeding” all the facets of our health while balancing and supporting our internal and external environment both physically and physiologically. Each class will focus on a different factor that affects longevity such as strength, mobility work, tissue glides for fascia health, breath-centric movements, sound healing and meditation to influence your parasympathetic system. You'll explore the many facets that make up health and longevity and leave feeling ready to meet life's challenges. Bring a yoga mat, comfy clothes and water.

I thought it would be a fun addition to discover and taste some of my favorite anti-aging recipes, all packed with healthy and delicious foods that can help reverse signs of aging internally (in the health of your joints) and externally. You will get to take home the recipe you try each week. They will incorporate foods such as.. chocolate, olive oil, blueberry, ghee, avocado, walnut, collagen, pomegranate and spices.

I am also very excited to announce that the last class in the series will include restorative/yin yoga along with sound healing performed by the lovely Nicole Laureen who will use her voice and song to enchant you and bring you deeper into relaxation while she plays the bowls, chimes, tuning forks and other vibration tools. This will allow you to receive the healing vibrations of sound into the body. This sound bath is a relaxation technique and meditative experience whereby you will 'bathe' in the sound waves produced and stimulate healing.

Check out the class themes below

Class 1: Thursday Oct. 10 - Vinyasa yoga inspired breath centric movements to stimulate the parasympathetic system (controls balance in the body at rest) and mindful movement for all body types to promote healing and reduce stress.

Class 2: Thursday Oct. 17 - Joint and Fascia- tissue glides for fascia health combined with myofascial release with balls. Your joints are designed to last for at least 100 years! So why do we accept that they’re going to break down before we are halfway there? I will teach you the key things you need to know about your joints and your fascia so that your body feels great and your movements are fluid! Learn about your fascia and how to hydrate so that movement feels awesome!

Class 3: Thursday Oct. 24 - Strength - weight-bearing strength exercises are added to yoga to strengthen both your muscle and bone tissue. This mindful class will leave you feeling strong and focused.

Class 4: Wednesday Oct 30 - Balance - Building better balance is important for many reasons. Not the least of which is that it makes it easier to move through life without injury. Especially as we age, we become more at risk for a variety of factors, including falls, which can be better prevented through movement targeted at improving balance.

Class 5: Thursday Nov 7 Detox yoga - a yoga flow which incorporates twists, mild inversions, and circular motions, detox yoga stimulates the digestive, immune and lymph systems.

Class 6: Thursday Nov 14 Brain - this yoga flow will increase fresh blood and oxygen to your brain. With an emphasis on awareness and centering, this yoga practice will help to stimulate blood flow to the brain, relax the mind, increase focus and improve memory.

Class 7: Wednesday Nov 20 Restorative yoga and sound healing with music and sound healing by Nicole Laureen.

I am passionate about giving people practices that keep them fit, strong and smart! I draw on my experience as a personal trainer, a group trainer, a yoga teacher, and optimization coach.
