Arm balances strengthen the muscles, bones and joints of the hands, arms, chest, shoulders, back and abdominals. They also increase blood flow to these parts of the body. The mind becomes more focused and content when yogic flight is achieved. This workshop will be broken down into two parts. This is the second of the two.

In this challenging workshop, more advanced poses will be explored such as Astavakrasana (Eight Angle Pose), Eka Pada Galavasana (Flying Pigeon Pose), and Maksikanagasana (Dragonfly Pose). No prior experience in any of these poses is necessary although having had some success in beginner arm balance poses is recommended to taking this workshop. Part 1 of this series is a good place to start if you have never done any Arm Balancing poses in your practice.
