About this event
Have fun learning more about art and creating work of your own! This class is offered for 4 Saturdays in January – February for ages 5 and up. Each session begins with a thematic discussion followed by a hands on art activity. Students’ work is exhibited in the Kathy Thiessen Art Gallery for one month. The exhibit opening gives students a chance to share their work with others and see it presented in a curated environment!
First session will be on January 14 and the last on February 04, 2023. Choose between morning (10:00 am) and afternoon (12:30pm) sessions.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Students must be 5 + to register
- Classes begin with all students together, and then we split into two groups according to age for the hands on activity.
- All artwork will be kept at the Station so that it can be hung in the gallery for an exhibit in April. Parents, friends and students are invited to attend the Young Artist Exhibit opening that month.
