Description

Our Kinesiologist Nicole will be reviewing the impact of exercise as it relates to bone and joint health. Topics will include maintaining bone mass through perimenopausal and menopausal years, touching on concepts of bone resorption and remodeling and the role resistance/weight bearing exercise plays. Joint health will also be discussed. In particular; mitigation of osteoarthritis progression, and the analgesic effect of movement/exercise.
