Event description

Description

Join Mix Mix Dance Collective founding member, Emily Law as she shares with us the basics of Waacking. Together we will learn about posing, arm pathways, movement through space and musicality. If you have an interest in street/disco dance forms/styles this is the workshop for you! Designed for all-level dancers; no previous experience in street/urban dance styles required. All you need is comfortable clothing and a willingness to groove!

For the second year, Your Dance Fest is leaping into St. Clair West! People think that dancers are the experts on dance, but that’s not totally true. We may be the experts on how to make dance, but you, our audience, are the experts on how to watch dance. Your Dance Fest is an event all about you, the dance watching experts.

Join us August 24th-26th for three days of family-friendly performances, free dance workshops, community events and more! Lets celebrate dance together!
