Having trouble filling entry-level roles? Worried you’re missing out on great, diverse young talent? Losing employees too quickly? Hiring is about to get easier!

Join us on February 1st, at the Ian O. Ihnatowycz Institute for Leadership (at the Ivey Business School, Western University) to learn more about HireNext: a free, interactive tool that helps employers build a pipeline to new young talent.

The session will offer practical information on strategies to better recruit, select, onboard and retain youth.

Highlights include:

  • Remarks by Professor Gerard Seijts, professor in Organizational Behaviour at Ivey Business School and Executive Director of the Ian O. Ihnatowycz Institute for Leadership

  • HireNext demo led by CivicAction’s Chief Operating Officer, Tamara Balan

  • A spotlight on Starbucks and their commitment to hiring more youth & refugees, with Ross Anderson, Head, Global Social Impact & Public Policy, Starbucks Canada

  • Peer exchange on employers’ experience of amending HR practices

  • Access to assessment tools loaded with customized recommendations and resources tailored to your organization

We will also feature HireNext employers, a coalition of 30+ employers – now including Western University, who are committed to youth-inclusive HR practices.
