About this event
The Youth 4 the Credit Stewardship Program Helps Teens (14-18) Get Involved in Their Community.
Youth will take part in a hands-on stewardship event to restore habitat in their local community. They will learn about local environmental issues and how environmental stewardship mitigates these issues, such as climate change and biodiversity.
Once a student has attended one of the mandatory training sessions they may attend as many Youth 4 the Credit volunteer events as they would like.
You are required to print and bring a copy of the Youth 4 the Credit – Volunteer Waiver to your events.
Reminders:
** Youth must be between 14-18 years old to participate in events. Safety protocol will be in place and you must attend a mandatory training session in order to sign up for events.
** Participants must be able to get to/from the event location. If you are unable to get to the location, please select a different planting event day.
** Students can sign up for multiple events, however we asked that you fully commit to the days you sign up for as space is limited.
** If you need to cancel your ticket, please do so 1 week ahead of the scheduled event so we can open the space for someone on the waiting list to participate.
