About this event

The Youth 4 the Credit Stewardship Program Helps Teens (14-18) Get Involved in Their Community.

Youth will take part in a hands-on stewardship event to plant native trees and shrubs with COVID-19 safety protocol in place. They will learn about local environmental issues and how planting native plants help mitigate these issues, such as climate change.

You are required to print and bring a copy of the Youth 4 the Credit – Volunteer Waiver to your events.

Reminders:

** Students must be between 14-18 years old to participate in events. Safety protocol will be in place and you must attend a mandatory training session in order to sign up for events.

** Participants must be able to get to/from the event location. If you are unable to get to the location, please select a different planting event day.

** Students can sign up for multiple events, however we ask that you fully commit to the days you sign up for as space is limited.

** If you need to cancel your ticket, please do so 1 week ahead of the scheduled event so we can open the space for someone on the waiting list to participate.
