Event description

Description

UNICEF Canada would like to invite you to explore and test our new Youth-Centred Design (YCD) Toolkit.

The YCD Toolkit provides tools and techniques to include child and youth voices in the development of meaningful programs, services, and policies that reflect the real needs of children and youth and support their rights. Human-centred design is an evidence-based, collaborative, and creative approach to problem-solving, where we design with the people we are here to support.

Like you, the One Youth team at UNICEF Canada is working to make Canada a better place for children and youth to grow up. As we work toward our goal, we’re developing new approaches to engage children and youth. UNICEF Canada and Overlap have a new Toolkit to support children, youth and caring adults in using human-centred design to work through some of the complex problems they experience, in a way that empowers children and youth to shape their own futures.

We need your help to test the Youth-Centred Design Toolkit Training.

If you’re interested in learning more about human-centred design and helping us test the YCD Toolkit, please take a moment to sign up on Eventbrite by Wednesday, November 28, 2018.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
