WHAT IS CODERDOJO?

CoderDojo is a free program for young people to improve their computing skills. Students work at their own pace, with the support of mentors who can answer questions and help inspire ideas. In this event, we will have resources for HTML, JavaScript, and Scratch.

CoderDojo Toronto promotes computer literacy by working with community organizations, challenging social and economic stereotypes, and empowering youth to shape their world through code.

VOLUNTEERS

Register to be paired with your local branch!

Mentors will be placed with their nearest participating branch and provided training and support leading up to and at the event. As we are working with each branches individual needs, please review existing resources for an overview of lessons that may be included.

This event was made possible by a Mozilla HIVE mini-grant. CoderDojo is actively seeking volunteers in different areas of the city to get involved in running monthly CoderDojo events. To learn more, see https://toronto.coderdojo.ca/mentors
