Young Professionals in Energy will be hosting the YPE Leaders Series:  Edmonton Refinery's Position in Suncor's Value Chain and Leadership Reflections by John Prusakowski, VP Suncor Edmonton Refinery on March 8, 2017. https://ypesuncorevent.eventbrite.ca

Event Details:
Mr. Prusakowski will present on the unique business value of Suncor Edmonton Refinery in its value chain and how it integrates with Suncor's upstream operations in Fort McMurray. Also, he will share his decades of leadership experience with audience.

Kleinfleder Canada Inc. (KLF) is the title sponsor and will host the event.

John Prusakowski Bio:

 
John Prusakowski graduated from the University of Alberta in Chemical Engineering. He began his career in the refining sector with Gulf Oil in Kamloops BC which was subsequently acquired by Petro-Canada in 1985. Over his career with Gulf and Petro-Canada, John has taken on a number of increasingly responsible roles in Logistics, Refining and Supply, and Business Development. During these assignments he has gained broad based technical, analytical, strategic, and leadership experience. In 1999, John transferred to Edmonton to be the Wholesale Marketing Manager. He then moved to the Edmonton Refinery in 2002 as the Manager of Production where he demonstrated a safe and reliable operation while the refinery was under-going extensive changes as it was being modified to operate entirely on bitumen based feedstocks. John has been the Vice President of the Edmonton Refinery since July, 2010. He is also currently active on the Strathcona Industrial Association working with the community and other Strathcona heavy industry operators to promote a safe and healthy working and living environment.
