Acumen Series: Alberta

2016 YWE Acumen Series: Alberta's Regulatory Environment

A presentation on Alberta's Regulatory Landscape with Mark Taylor from the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER)

Wednesday June 29, 2016 | 7:00 - 8:30 am
Calgary Petroleum Club | 310 5 Ave SW
$25/ticket. Breakfast provided.

What does regulatory excellence mean to the Alberta Energy Regulator? Join us for the next event in our Acumen Series, moderated by 2015 YWE Award winner Oksana Kielbasinski of InSolutions Advisory Services where Mark Taylor, Vice-President of Climate Assurance of the AER, will shed some light on this question. In turn, reflect on what regulatory excellence means to you and the industry you work in.

The strong regulatory environment in Alberta is something we should be proud of, but this does not always translate into social acceptability. After this event, you will be left with some key takeaways to engage in important conversations relevant to our industry – such as, industry requirements to manage potential impacts associated with producing the abundant resources we are fortunate to house within our province.

 AGENDA

Registration starts at 7:00 am | Speaker Presentation at 7:35 am | Q&A at 8:05 am | Wrap-up at 8:30 am
