About this event
Each year we host two competitions as part of the Nutrien WinterShines festival. The novice event on Sunday, Feb 20th, 2022 and THIS one!
The YXE Chefs' Soup Cook-Off consists of local professional chef's. They will compete for the honour of winning the YXE Soup Cook-Off trophy and bragging rights.
Whose soup will win your heart? Vote for your favourite and help them win!
Tickets go on sale February 7 - These events always sell out so get your tickets early!
Tickets must be purchased online, no tickets at the door. No refunds.
Note: FREE admission for children under 5 years old .
Entertainment: Métis Music - Phil & Dallas Boyer
Two sittings:
- 5:00 PM - 6:15 PM - Family sitting: Bring your family and enjoy the hearty soups at your reserved table for 2 or 4. Strollers are allowed.
- 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM - Adult sitting: A time for friends or your significant other to create memorable moments with a night of comfort soups, good drinks and great company.
Beverages: beer, wine, ciders and soft drinks. CASH ONLY at the bar. No ATM on-site.

Health and Safety Measures
- You are required to wear a face mask covering over your nose, mouth, and chin while on the premises. You may remove your face covering to enjoy your soup when seated at your table.
- We are aware Saskatchewan health regulations are changing and will soon make an appropriate decision about health and safety measures at the Soup Cook-Offs.
