Event description
2.2 Million Pledges Challenge for Youth Mental Health in Canada.

About this Event

With approximately 20% of Canada’s 2.2 million youth ages 13 – 19 reaching out for support in a given year, access to and provision of mental health services needs to be improved.

We can all make a contribution…make your pledge today!

  • Simply register to make a pledge.
  • Enter the name of your school or youth organization.
  • For every $1 pledged, your institution will receive a ballot entry for a chance to become a Champion Advocate for Youth Mental Health.
  • Share your support on social media using #ZachMakesTracks and #ImWithZach.

Based on pledges received from each province and territory, 14 Champion Advocates will be selected and will have the honour to pick a local community mental health organization to be a beneficiary of donations raised.

On May 7th, 2019 - National Child and Youth Mental Health Day each Champion Advocate will be awarded an on-site event to celebrate youth mental health that will include a celebrity guest visit or video message, media coverage and announcement of the selected local charity.

No pledge is too small.

Proceeds raised will provide direct support for improving access and provision of youth mental health services offered by The Slaight Family Centre for Youth in Transition at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto as well as 14 local community mental health organizations across Canada, as selected by the campaign’s Champion Advocate groups.
