Description

The Parent Handbook – Engaging Parents in the Learning Process

This workshop is geared towards creating an understanding of the effectiveness of the Parent Handbook
and how it can be used to foster partnerships between educators and parents/caregivers. Mandatory
requirements will be touched upon, but more importantly, educators will analyze their current Parent
Handbooks and consider its effectiveness from a licensing, educational and parent perspective.
Recommendations will be made, and educators will have the tools necessary to revise and improve their
Parent Handbooks.
