Back Be Nimble Massage & Wellness Centre



Back Be Nimble Massage & Wellness Centre is a well-established clinic located in the growing community of Summerside.  We have an amazing team of practitioners who provide the best in client treatment and are dedicated to improving client wellness.  We offer:

 As a collective, we have been providing effective treatments to our clients for over 13 years.  The majority of our RMTs have over 10 years of experience and we are continuing to grow by bringing fresh faces into the mix.  We have also recently welcomed a Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant who can give you practical tools to make nutrition and lifestyle changes so you can be a healthier you.


We believe in working with each client to determine treatment goals specific to their needs and in promoting a healthy life balance for our clients through postural education, exercise recommendations and self-care techniques, and now through consultations with our Certified Holistic Nutritionist.




Maxine Deys, RMT & Fitness Instructor Specialist


Maxine graduated from the MacEwan 2200 Massage Therapy Program in 2015 and is licensed with the City of Edmonton and registered with the Massage Therapist Association of Alberta (MTAA). Since graduating Maxine has been practicing at Back Be Nimble Massage & Wellness Centre. Maxine specializes in therapeutic relaxation massage and works with a wide range of patients like infants, children, pregnancy, elderly, and athletes. Maxine also completed courses at the University of Lethbridge within the field of kinesiology before moving to Edmonton to start the Massage Therapy Program.  Being an athlete her whole life and a having a passion for living a wellness based lifestyle, Maxine is also a trained Fitness Instructor and has been teaching since 2013. She has completed courses in foam rolling and fascial stretching, interval training, abdominal and core stabilization, Bender ball, Rehabilitation protocols, weight training, and Zumba.



Kelsey Wilson (NAIT-PFT, ERYT200, RYT500, YACEP, YAA, AFLCA, PTS)


Kelsey signed up for her first yoga series in 2004, and unlike many teachers it was not love at first class. Mid way through the session a love affair with yoga began as she became amazed at how her body and mind responded to yoga. In 2012 Kelsey took a leap and spent a summer on Salt Spring Island at the Salt Spring Centre of Yoga. When Kelsey returned home she continued her studies finishing her 500 hours at Yoga for Today and also achieving Yoga Association of Alberta Certification. Her classes are nourishing, empowering and uplifting based on the belief that we all need something different from Yoga. Kelsey is also a graduate of NAIT with a diploma in Personal Fitness Training and teaches a variety of group fitness classes.
