Canadian Mental Health Association Mid Island

Founded in 1918, the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) is a national charity that helps maintain and improve mental health for all Canadians. As the nation-wide leader and champion for mental health, CMHA works to promote mental health for all and supports the resilience and recovery of people experiencing mental illness.

CMHA Mid-Island delivers services to people living in, and between, Nanaimo and Comox Valley. Programs and services include housing, employment programs, a social centre, vocational training, housing supplements, homeless outreach, an overdose prevention site, wellness programs and public education, including suicide prevention training.
