Hello, it's so nice to meet you!

We are Charity Gals, otherwise known as Rachel Gannage Kemp and Stephanie Yurkewich. Thank you for visiting our profile! Let us take a second to tell you our story!

We are close friends who live and work in the Niagara Region. We both absolutely love Niagara and really wanted to find a way to give back to our community in a fun and creative way. In 2018, we and four other close girl friends decided we wanted to host a fun evening event where people could get together, dress up, and have a great time- all the while trying to raise money for a worthy cause.  In March 2018, we held our first ever charity event in Toronto's Distillery District called Stay the Night in honour of CMHA Niagara's Safe Bed's Program and it was a big success! Everyone who attended had a great time, and we were able to raise a net of $10,000. We knew that we had found a passion project we wanted to continue- and thus, Charity Gals was born!

Our aim is to host an annual fundraising event honouring a different local charity each year! Together, we also love to promote the power of women, and have added two other strong and talented women to our team. Kaitlyn Daw is an amazing photographer from the Niagara Region and  DJ Donna Love Joy is an awesome DJ from Hamilton! They will be our exclusive photographer and DJ for each of our events.

Please stay tuned to our upcoming events- the next one being in November, 2019 at 13th Street Winery in honour of The Lincoln Humane Society! We hope to see you there!
