Chef Joanne Gerrard Young

 

 

Joanne is an International Chef, Master Raw Food Chef, Author and Health Educator. She is a leader in the organic and non-gmo food movements, with a passion for sharing her delicious food and knowledge on the healing and energizing power of whole natural foods to nourish and heal ourselves, our communities and Mother Earth.

 

With 20+ years' experience in culinary arts, juicing and holistic nutrition, Joanne has worked closely with Naturopathic Doctors, Herbalists, Alternative Healers, Chinese Medicine and internationally renowned chefs and teachers. Supporting the global shift toward a more compassionate planet by integrating living foods into her highly plant-based repertoire of tantalizing recipes. Joanne's retreats, classes, chef services, cleanses and consultations help people achieve optimal health and positive living through clean eating and awareness of how to choose and prepare delicious organic and whole foods.

 

Joanne has recently moved back to North America from Costa Rica where she and her family have lived since 2009. Highly sought-after by vacationing celebrities, CEOs, supermodels, actors and superstar athletes as testimony to her experience and delectable creativity in the kitchen. Joanne was the personal plant-based chef to Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady for 7 years in Costa Rica, and has worked with Bruce Springsteen, Mel Gibson, Britany Daniels, models Julia Stegner, Diana Moldovan and Dree Hemingway. She has been featured on talk shows, hired for workshops by companies like Lululemon, Mosaic, Samsung and Mattel. Joanne has been invited to speak at international culinary conferences, has been interviewed on Business Insider, and Etalk and her recipes have been featured in Vogue, Cosmopolitan, In Style, People Magazine, Daily Mail UK, Harper's Bazaar, SVD Sweden.
