AND I want to be your child’s first music teacher! I want your child to start life surrounded by music. I want to inspire your child to LOVE and APPRECIATE music forever! I created because I absolutely love teaching young kids... This is my 23rd year of teaching music as a qualified instructor and running my own studio. I am a mom of two teenage boys (16 and 14.5 ~YIKES), and a proud wife to my high-school sweetheart The perfect musical beginning means everything to me! I specialize in teaching from a baby an infant, to a toddler, to a preschooler, and on.....
The secret to teaching young children is PATIENCE, PRAISE, and PASSION! My DAD taught me patience, and my MOM taught me praise, and somehow I was just born with a passion for music! I’m always singing and there is always a melody in my head. I have always been very shy, in fact - I was a pre-school drop out..... Music is an amazing outlet for a child’s soul, well everyone’s soul really LOL.... If you are wondering when to start music lessons, the answer is NOW! You can never start too early...
If you have a brand new baby, join the class. (Dad’s can join too!!) It is a nurturing class that will help you to introduce music into your everyday lives.
Next, you have two Music and Movement choices.... Option One: -- an absolutely wonderful program c0-created by Eric Litwin (author of the first four Pete The Cat books) and music producer Michael Levine. The music is amazing! Option Two: Zumbini! Zumbini was created by Zumba and BabyFirst TV. Zumbini is an amazing Music and Movement class that focuses on FEELING RHYTHM! We learn a ton of choreographed dances so children can learn to identify patterns in the music and experience movning to the beat. We sing, we dance, we wiggle and shake, everybody has a great time in class!
It is highly recommended that your child first completes atleast one session of The Learning Groove or Zumbini before moving on to a Specialty Class. We spend alot of TABLE TIME in our specialty classes. Your child must enjoy coloring and worksheet activities in order to be ready for these classes. Our three specialty classes are Sing me a Story Yogi Songs and Stories, KiddyKeys, and Preschool Prodigies.
~ ages 2.5-5~ is a wonderful program that combines music with your childs love of drawing! This amazing program combines the world of Art, through drawing, music, poetry, and early literacy! The Artabet teaches your child how to draw ANYTHING in the world with 6 universal Lines. When children learn to master the 6 lines, the possibilities are endless!
~ages 3-5~ a wonderful transition to a music discovery class that introduces musical concepts along with the piano -- it is a great way to move into a child focused lesson full of activities, games, and musical exploration!
~ ages 3-5~ prepare to be amazed! Your little one will be introduced to all sorts of school readiness skills! Letters, numbers and patterning with shapes, colors and sequences! Add on top, the world of perfect pitch ~ through solfege your child will learn how to use their voice and sing on pitch! There is of course no guarantee of perfect pitch here, but Preschool Prodigies is a program that has successfully trained many little musicians in achieving it. Prodigies is an amazing program that teaches children in a really fun way with technology! Taking the most basic of instruments—tuned bells to the next level!
After your child has completed all these programs they are ready to begin a totally new adventure. Private lessons on any instrument. All the programs at Tiny Tinkles Music Studio will give your child the best start to appreciating the art of making music, and creativity for the rest of their lives.
