Embodying Empathy (Gina Cenciose)

THE TRAINERGINA CENCIOSE, has been living and sharing Nonviolent Communication (NVC) intensively since 2002. She offers mediation and counselling sessions, training for small groups and large groups.  She is currently leading 7 different 1-year to 3-year NVC Integration Programs with colleagues, in English and in French. She teaches in schools, prisons, hospitals, community organizations, spiritual centers and offers NVC and musical conferences as well. She trains new NVC trainers with the international Center for Nonviolent Communication at  In many of her year long programs she adds Wholebody Focusing, Inner Relationship Focusing and Inquiry with NVC.  She is co founder of the Quebec Association for Certified Trainers, and she works closely with the other certified trainers for her area. Her specialties include healing and NVC, empathy, and NVC and Intimate relationships.  She also offers  Circles systems in many organisations and groups. She is passionate about spreading NVC, especially to those who would not ordinarily have access to it, and has co-founded NVC and Focusing projects in prisons and with young mothers from violent backgrounds.

Gina has many years of work with trauma release, and has completed yearlong programs in Aboriginal Psychotherapy and Focusing oriented approach to Complex trauma, Somatic Experiencing trainings, Wholebody focusing with trauma. She has worked with her own complex trauma for many years, and accompanies small groups and individuals in this healing path of transformation for many years. Her approach is a whole being, earth centered aboriginal approach which resembles certain methods of eco therapy. It combines deep connection to nature, and specifically plants, deep inner presence based work using Inner Relationship & wholebody Focusing, different soul work teachings, Joanna Macy's approach in coming back to life, and NVC practices of transformation of consciousness. She also combines inquiry and energy healing practices in the work she offers.—
