Family Services of Greater Vancouver is a community-based not-for-profit organization that has been providing social services to children, youth, adults, and families across the lower mainland since 1928. In July 1997, Family Services was granted a license to provide adoption planning and placement services. Our adoption agency provides counselling and adoption services to birth parents and adoptive parents. In addition to domestic and inter-provincial adoptions, Family Services of Greater Vancouver Licensed Adoption Agency has worked with the following countries for international adoptions: Cambodia, China, Columbia, Ethiopia, Fiji, Ghana, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, India, Jamaica, Korea, Malawi, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Uganda, USA, Vietnam, and Zimbabwe.
