Guelph-Wellington Women's Campaign School

Guelph’s population is approximately 50% women, yet after the 2014 municipal election women held only 38% of elected positions.

A collaboration of several Guelph community partners have developed a campaign school to help women overcome barriers and support them through their political campaign.

The first part of the campaign school is an open forum for anyone to come and ask questions to current and former women in government about their campaign and office tenure experiences. This forum will take place November 14 – click here for more information

The actual campaign school will be held in February 2018 to prepare any potential candidates for running for municipal government. Stay tuned for more information!
