Kawartha Lakes Food Source

Kawartha Lakes Food Source operates from a centralized distribution centre; we collect food from reclamation sources, food drives and donations; buy food in bulk; sort and store food; promote awareness of hunger and its impact; and coordinate fundraising. We provide food to member organizations on a monthly “fair share” basis.

Our members include: 8 food banks, 6 social service agencies and 21 schools within the City of Kawartha Lakes. In turn they provide food to about 5,500 hungry people every month.
