M. Michelle Nadon

Since 2003, Michelle has been the leading provider of strategic recruitment and career coaching guidance for the media and entertainment sectors, which includes over 5,000 Canadian, small-medium sized, audio/video/ television/ film/post houses and social marketing, publishing, mobile & digital media firms.

As technologies and trends have shifted with mercurial speed, Michelle has firmly established MI as the trusted link between creative companies and top professionals, providing innovative internet and crowd recruiting models hand in hand with cutting-edge career enrichment and training programs for the creative class. MI is renowned for continuously evolving its products and services to meet and surpass industry standards. Now in its 11th year, MI has executed/delivered senior level recruiting assignments and HR services for most major Canadian networks, numerous independent production and cultural organizations and as well as regular delivery of industry-specific training seminars.

Prior to founding MI, Michelle’s experiential portfolio included managing policy and regulatory compliance with BellGlobeMedia, and serving as General/Operations Manager in two commercial and post-production houses.  For five years, she worked in production with TVOntario’s English and French public broadcasting networks, and, earlier in her career, worked with industry leader Nelvana, on award-winning 2D and 3D animated series.

Fluently bilingual (English/French), she holds certificates in Social Media Marketing through Mediabistro NY, as well as from the Alliance Atlantis Banff Television Executive Program, and Queen’s University’s Executive Marketing Program.  Michelle lives north of Toronto, with her beautiful German Shepherd Stella, and spends all of her spare time, goodwill and company profits on animal advocacy through www.c4panimalrescue.ca
