Living with Lyme Disease since 2007, saw over 2 dozen doctors and specialists in three years. Had many (mis)diagnoses before the final diagnosis. Treated in Toronto for 10 months, then dropped from treatment because the doctor was not allowed to treat Lyme Disease patients or a "disease which doesn't exist in Canada". I was infected in Ontario, Canada, for crying out loud, and so were many of the people I've met since then!
