Mindful Managers - Vanessa Lesperance

Vanessa has her Masters degree in Leadership from Royal Roads University and a graduate diploma in business from Simon Fraser University.

She is published in the World Federation Association Teacher's Education journal with the article Leadership Traits Children Look for and has spoken at Fairleigh Dickonson University on emotional intelligence and the Rise Up Indigenous graduate student conference on her research on workplace spirituality. She also has extensive experience leading her own teams and working as a business mentor with Indigenous entrepreneurial youth.

As a facilitator she looks to incorporate fun, well-researched information, and holds space for people to show up as they are, who they are and creates environments that enchances learning, heart centeredness and creativity.

Mindful Managers was created as a result of the research she did for her Masters degree - with the goal of organizations embracing workplace spirituality in order to increase well-being, help people find meaning and purpose in their jobs, and deepen connections to self and with others. Vanessa envisions organizations encouraging employees to bring mind, body, emotion and SPIRT to work.

She loves yoga, nature, coffee and reading (not necessarily in that order).
