Ottawa Bird Count

The Ottawa Bird Count is an environmental and educational organization that runs a volunteer-based bird survey, in the city of Ottawa. We study and monitor birds across the city, to learn how urbanites can live surrounded by a healthy and diverse bird community. Using scientifically rigorous methods, our volunteers survey birds in their neighbourhoods; and we store and analyse the data, making the results available to the public, conservation organizations, and city planners.
