Ottawa Pocket Opera/Opéra de poche d"Ottawa

Ottawa Pocket Opera / Opéra de poche d’Ottawa is an incorporated non-profit organization designed to provide performance opportunities for  both established local professionals and young developing performers in the region. Our productions are done on an intimate scale, and our long-term goals include travelling to small venues in communities in the Ottawa Valley and Eastern Ontario. Along with providing performance opportunities, by producing on a smaller scale with affordable ticket prices, we hope to bring opera to audiences in the region who might not otherwise be exposed to it, in the hope of helping to maintain and even augment appreciation for our art and its place in our society.
