Port Medway Readers' Festival

The Port Medway Readers' Festival has become one of the preferred Festivals of the Canadian literary festival season. Developed and organized by a team of local literature enthusiasts, it attracts authors of national and international acclaim and supports emerging authors. Each year we host three or four author from across the country.

The charming fishing of Port Medway draws both authors and readers who enjoy the intimacy of our festival and the wonderful setting.

Our events are comprised of a reading at the Old Meeting House and a reception and book signing at the local firehall. The firehall Ladies Auxiliary provides refreshments.

The intimacy and warmth of this Festival ensures that avid readers get to meet and chat with their favouite authors.
