Regulated and Prohibited Consumer Products in Canada
Responsibilities for Industry under the (CCPSA), as well as, Regulated and Prohibited Consumer Products in Canada will be the focus of this workshop presented by Health Canada Consumer Product Safety Officers. Consumer product is defined as a product that may reasonably be expected to be obtained by an individual to be used for non-commercial purposes (e.g., toys, children’s products, furniture, electronics, clothing, etc). Document retention and reporting responsibilities under the CCPSA will be discussed in detail. A short discussion on cosmetic products will also be included during the workshop.
