Russell Alexander - Collaborative Lawyers, Carrie Heinzl - Fairmore Financial Solutions & Jarret Johnston - Gemmill, Johnston & Jeffries PC


Russell is his firm's founder and has dedicated his entire practice to achieving results in a compassionate, collaborative and client-focused manner, an ideal which is reflected in his team at Russell Alexander Collaborative Family Lawyers. He has created a team-based approach that focuses on the client’s interests with a mission to respect client goals and protect their rights by providing custom family law solutions. 


Carrie co-founded Fairmore Family Law Financial Solutions to offer independent, fact-based financial analytics and settlement insights to individuals and couples working through separation and divorce. Carrie serves as Vice-Chair on the Board of Directors of York Collaborative Practice, and a board member for Durham Collaborative Practice. Carrie is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and a member of the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts.


Jarret practices primarily in Family Law specializing in litigation, collaborative, and traditional settlement work. Jarret also offers services in Wills and Estates, and Real Estate. Jarret sits on the executive for the Kawartha Collaborative Practice, the executive of the Victoria Haliburton Law Association, and is a Director for the Children's Services Council. Jarret’s wife, Megan, practices law with Smitiuch Injury Law in the Greater Toronto Area, while they raise their two young children together. Jarret is passionate about getting his clients the best result possible with the least amount of financial, mental, and emotional damage, whether in the boardroom or courtroom.
