Rwandan Canadian Healing Centre, Rwandan Canadian Abroad, and Institute for Change Leaders

Background

Founded on April 16, 2018, the Rwandan Canadian Healing Centre is a federally registered non-for-profit organization with a mission to help heal community traumas and rebuild affected communities by serving a multi-dimensional platform for Dialogue, Research, Education, Social Advocacy, and Civic Engagement.

Rwandan Canadian Healing Centre is launching Alkebu-Lan Project as its inaugural project, partnering with International Rwandan Youth for Development (IRYD), Rwandan Canadians Abroad (RCA), and other Rwandan/East African Canadian youth organizations.

Project Goal and Overview

Alkebu-Lan Project is a three-year Initiative, aimed at finding solutions to current and future Afro-Canadian challenges. Through various programs and activities, project participants will learn to create life lasting visions, which will serve as greater personal goals, provide community services, and contribute to positive social change.
