SDNR
Sustainable Development and Revitalization (SDNR) has been collaborating with institutions of higher education, rural, remote and isolated communities since 2015. The objective of such is aimed at exchanging mutually beneficial knowledge and resources in a context of partnership, trust and reciprocity. Major projects, events and larger scale research initiatives provide opportunities to network with rural populations, NGOs and private stakeholders who are also involved in community engagement work. While support, capacity building and skill development enable peer learning and informed decision-making; SDNR's work also revolves around the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and in doing so, strives to alleviate poverty in rural regions of Canada through fashion, innovation, entrepreneurship, informed policy engagement and transparency.
