TECS - Toronto Engineering Club of Speakers

We are a Toastmasters club that serves a diverse engineering community providing an opportunity to learn and develop leadership and formal communication skills, inspiration to develop innovative ideas, and a social and professional network, all in a structured program that is supportive, welcoming and entertaining. We meet Tuesday evenings at the University of Toronto.

Become more persuasive and confident in your personal and professional life. Benefit from a diverse network of like-minded professionals. Learn and grow from positive, constructive feedback. Learn to think on your feet from fun activities.

Increasingly, advancing in our careers depends on being able to communicate ideas, make persuasive fact-based arguments, and motivate teammates.  No matter your current skill level, you will be able to learn from our experienced members and find peers at all levels of experience.

Our members grow and develop by taking on structured meeting roles and completing speeches in the Toastmasters Educational Program. While most of our members are engineers or engineering students, we are open to all.

Are you looking to improve your speaking, communication and leadership skills? Join us Tuesday evenings as a guest and see what our club is all about.
