The LivingRoom Community Art Studio

The LivingRoom Community Art Studio is a charitable arts organization based out of Oshawa, Ontario that provides a safe place for people of all ages and abilities and from all walks of life to make and share art for free in the service of community development and individual well being! Located at 149 Simcoe Street South, the LivingRoom believes that everyone is an artist, and that when people come together to create that they can change their world for the better!

The LivingRoom is open Wednesday through Saturday, 11am until 6pm and on Sundays from 12-4pm.  They hold pay-what-you-like workshops on weekends, however you can also find them out and about in Durham Region through out the year hosting free art activities and pop-up studios at various community events.  They host one of the region's favourite one-of-a-kind artisan marketplaces each November at Trent University Durham, and have a small art shop in at their studio where they sell original art and handcrafted wares on consignment.

If you would like to support the LivingRoom project you are welcome to visit their Canada Helps page at https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/livingroom/ , volunteer your time with us, or donate gently loved art materials and craft supplies to their studio space.  <3
