Toronto City Planning and the Community Preservation Panels. Promoting Partner: Heritage Toronto

Heritage Preservation Services is a unit with the Urban Design section of Toronto City Planning that is responsible for Toronto's Heritage Register.  Heritage Preservation Services is currently undertaking a Feasibility Study on developing a city-wide heritage survey.  

Community Preservation Panels are four volunteer committees, one per Community Council area, appointed by Toronto City Council to help Council make informed decisions about the conservation of the city's heritage buildings and sites.

Promoting Partner: Heritage Toronto is a charitable arms-length agency of the City of Toronto established in 1949 to promote a greater appreciation for the city’s rich architectural, cultural, archaeological and natural heritage.
