Vision

To enhance the health and integrity of the environment through tree planting and sustainable management of Ontario’s forests.

What We Do

Trees Ontario works with 65+ partner organizations to increase the forested landscape of Ontario’s private lands through the support and promotion of tree planting programs. Ensuring the right tree is planted in the right place is a multi-faceted process that involves much expertise, including seed collectors, seed processors, nurseries, conservation authorities, stewardship councils, forestry consultants, municipal governments, community volunteer groups and of course landowners.

Trees Ontario planting programs are locally based and provide landowners with complete tree planting services that respect their objectives in the context of the local landscape needs.

In addition to the delivery of forest restoration programs, Trees Ontario also coordinates public events, programming and educational awareness campaigns. Our outreach efforts are vital to supporting our mission of enhancing our forests.
