United Way Alberta Northwest

Our United Way serves an area of roughly one quarter of Alberta, from Grande Cache to the NWT border and from Slave Lake to the B.C. border. We focus on ensuring the funding we provide our community partners has significant positive impact in our communities and is based on outcome measures and identified need.

Every year we allocate money to approximately 30 programs. For maximumcommunityimpact we focus on Poverty Reduction, Strong Communities and Successful Kids. We believe that to address those issues in a meaningful way, we wll need to increase our resources.
