Varley Art Gallery (Cheryl Rego) and Markham Public Library (Amy Arsenio)

Connect with Markham’s creative communities at PechaKucha Markham! PechaKucha Night was devised in Tokyo in February 2003, and has become a massive celebration of ideas and creativity with events around the world. Markham joined the celebration in 2013, and now hosts four events per year. Markham’s PechaKucha nights are  a collaboration between Markham Public Library and the Varley Art Gallery, two organizations committed to connecting and supporting Markham’s vibrant  and creative communities.  Led by Varley Program Coordinator Cheryl Rego and MPL Community Librarian Ange Friesen, the PK Markham team is always on the lookout for interesting ideas and stories to share with our community. Interested in presenting? Come out to one of our upcoming events and make a connection!
