The Varley-McKay Art Foundation of Markham supports the Varley Art Gallery in its 20th anniversary year as a premiere cultural destination in the GTA. The Varley Art Gallery is committed to presenting the finest exhibitions to support its mission and mandate. In 2010, the Varley Art Gallery circulated The Automatiste Revolution: Montreal 1941-1960 internationally to the Albright-Knox Museum of Buffalo. While on exhibit at the Varley Art Gallery, Canadian Art magazine ranked the Automatiste Revolution: Montreal 1941 - 1960  as the most impressive exhibition of 2009!
