She has served many families as a community health nurse, and taught child behaviour management at St. Clair College. She has served as the Family Support Facilitator at St. Mary’s Family Learning Centre, and also as a child care consultant to numerous social service agencies.

In 1987, she founded Positive Parenting in Windsor. As well as speaking and facilitating workshops, she has a private practice in which she counsels parents and individuals, providing them with education and support.

Win is well known as a parent educator and an inspiring motivational speaker. Her message is a message of hope.She has spoken nationally and internationally to audiences of parents, educators, health professionals, and business people on the topics of parenting, family relationships, personal potential, and balancing work and family.

Her sound theory, dynamic style, humour, and her practical approach make her a frequent guest on radio, television and newspaper.
