Topaz Bike Club and GVCC

Yvonne is the mother of two children under 6. Her dream is to raise her children in the biking community, both commuting and mountain biiking.

Yvonne is the vice-president of the Greater Victoria Cycling Coalition (GVCC). She also sits on the South Island Mountain Biking (SIMBS) board.

She started the "Build a Bike Park at Topaz Park" facebook group and movement in early 2017 to advocate for a really fun, safe place in Victoria for kids to practice their biking skills. 

Together with her husband, Bastien, and help.from GVCC, they have organized numerous family-friendly biking events this summer.
