Community Dialogue Session - April 28

Staff at the Vancouver School District have recommended the closure of Queen Elizabeth Annex (QEA) school site by June 2023. The Board has approved a public engagement process to gather community feedback on the proposed closure, in accordance with Board policy. A final decision will be made by the Board at a public meeting, scheduled for May 30, 2022.

Please join us for a community dialogue session to learn more about the project and to provide your feedback. Sessions will provide an opportunity to hear from other participants and provide direct feedback in a small group setting.

Please note:

• Please register only one session per family to make space for as many people as possible. Content in all session will be identical.
• This is a virtual meeting to be held on Zoom. Once you are registered through Eventbrite, the Zoom link to the meeting will be sent to you 30 minutes before the event begins.
• A reminder of the event will be sent to you 2 days in advance.
• In consideration of participants' privacy, this session is not being recorded.
• The session will begin on time. To avoid interruption during the session, the doors will be closed to participants 15 minutes after the start of the session. If a participant arrives after the doors are closed, they will be encouraged to register for an alternate session (as available).
