Organizer of If Trees Could Talk Devon
We run creative workshops, make artwork with communities, learn about communities through creative research and evaluation, and provide supplies for social good. Our current work has three particular strands: a)young people b) recovery and wellbeing (particularly around mental health), and c) decarbonisation and regeneration. Our mission is ‘strengthening the seams of community’ so that there is appropriate, accessible and truly helpful support available in the community when it is needed. We work with other organisations, and we provide activities for individuals that foster connections, creativity, and empowerment. Our facilitators bring specialist art for health skills, a passion for nature, and lived experience of a life-changing variety of personal challenges. The insight from these fuels our work.We build community and support people in vulnerable life moments using art & creativity.
