Overview

Free 2-hour hands-on workshop teaches small-business owners how to write better AI prompts for clearer, more reliable results.

Want AI tools to feel more like a capable assistant and less like a guessing game? This two-hour, hands-on free workshop that’s in partnership with WeBC focuses on practical prompt-writing skills so you can get clearer, more reliable outputs from AI chats and writing assistants, even if you’re completely new to the technology. Many small-business owners struggle not with access to AI, but with knowing what to ask and how to ask it; this session addresses that gap directly.

You’ll learn simple frameworks for structuring prompts (e.g. role, goal, context, constraints) and apply them to real entrepreneurial tasks: drafting social posts, outlining newsletters, refining product or service descriptions, and drafting responses to common customer questions. Working in free, easy-to-access AI chat tools, you’ll practice iterating on prompts to improve tone, accuracy, and relevance, and you’ll leave with reusable prompt templates you can adapt for your own business after the workshop.

This is a free event for the public and is also included as part of Career Collective membership.
