Chinese Dumplings
Plump, savoury, Chinese dumplings are delicious steamed, boiled, or fried. Learn to make your own through this live online format, where Chef Heidi will guide you step-by-step through the process.
We will be making a traditional juicy pork, chive & shrimp filling and then using store-boght wrappers to learn several different folding techniques, from very basic to the classic pleated crescent. Chef Heidi will share lots of tips and tricks while she cooks and demonstrates every step of the recipe, folding and cooking.
Beginners welcome! Dumplings don't need the more complicated folds to be supremely delicious.
Cook in real time over Zoom, alongside Chef Heidi, as she cooks dumplings from start to finish in her home, guiding you through the process, answering questions, and making sure you have a delicious dumpling party at the end of class!
Alternatively, watch the class and then cook at your own pace from the recipe and video provided after class.
