Overview

WDB is hosting an information session providing annual Local Labour Market Planning (LLMP) Report highlights.

Workforce Development Board (WDB) invites you to a special presentation of our annual Local Labour Market Planning (LLMP) Report on Wednesday, February 11th at 11 a.m.

Each year, WDB produces a LLMP report, which highlights changes in the local labour force and workforce challenges facing employers within the regions of Peterborough, Northumberland, Kawartha Lakes, and Haliburton.

Danielle Lachance, Labour Market Information Analyst Consultant and author of our 2025-2026 LLMP will provide updates in trends in Employment Services client data, Employment Ontario program data, Skilled Trades Ontario data, changes in employment by occupation and industry, and business counts by industry and size. The webinar will also highlight data from the College of Early Childhood Educators, a new feature section in this year's report.

This overview of the economic and labour market changes will provide insight into the challenges and opportunities linked to economic and workforce development.
