2025 COVID-Conscious Winter Solstice Virtual Retreat
Overview
COVID-Concious Winter Solstice Virtual Retreat
Curl up in your favourite blanket with a cup of herbal tea…
Maybe light a candle…
Get something to write on for our highly interactive group oracle reading.
Come as you are. No apologies. No need to get fancy. Just take this time for YOU.
Solstice is a time of gathering together to say goodbye to the longest night of the year and welcome back more more daylight.
Nobody deserves to be isolated, gaslit or disrespected for the holidays, whether it be family who won't mask, the disappearance of Before Times friends, people telling you to "move on" or coping with a chronic illness with disintegrating public health... so this one’s for you, okay?
You deserve some pampering. 100%.
In order to hold space well for others, we need to hold space for ourselves, and that means plenty of self-care.
Come gather with me and other COVID-conscious women, 2-Spirit and genderqueer folx virtually on Winter Solstice. Or if you run out of spoons, catch the replay.
❆ Enjoy Indigenous medicine songs sung LIVE by Brenda MacIntyre, also known as Medicine Song Woman.
❆ Experience a unique interactive oracle reading that can help you hold onto your truth .
❆ YOU might even be selected to pick one of the cards! Brenda’s oracle readings include music, messages and easy, inspiring activities.
❆ Your grief, tears, frustration, loneliness and overwhelm are just as welcome as your joy, laughter and gratitude. We can be real here.
Get your spot first and then go ahead and tell your COVID-conscious women, 2-Spirit and genderqueer friends and loved ones. It will be a collaborative, musical oracle reading circle and Return to Light ceremony. Whether you are deeply spiritual or not at all, you are welcome.
Brenda MacIntyre's virtual circles help COVID-cautious folx to feel lighter and reclaim a sense of connection, validation and belonging.
Join us virtually on Thursday December 12th at 6pm EST / 3pm PST.
Brenda MacIntyre, known by her Indigenous name Medicine Song Woman, is a covid-conscious, neurodivergent spiritual mentor, speaker, hand drummer and JUNO-winning singer. She is on a reconnecting journey back to her Red River and Lac La Biche Metis roots through her late birth father, and she has settler ancestry through her mother.
A singer for 40 years, Brenda also developed her own body of work back in 2006 to help women find their voice. After rising up from multiple dark nights of the soul along the way, she carries trauma-informed teachings and practices, all based in song and connection to Spirit. Brenda uses voice, drum and music in her mentoring, remote classroom sessions and virtual public workshops to help people find their voice and rekindle their inner fire.
"I wanted to let you know that the healing circle I participated in with you in December was very special for me. I was able to get a lot from it and I thought your voice, your drumming, and your healing was so comforting. I was given the link from a friend who takes courses with you and I am very grateful.
I wish you a beautiful year 2022! Thank you again for helping me awaken and receiving messages from my grandmothers!"
