2026 Burns Supper
Overview
Our evening event will include:
- A demonstration of Scottish highland dancing
- Recitals of Burns poems
- Bagpipe Procession and Presentation of the Haggis
- The Address to the Haggis
- The Selkirk Grace
- The Immortal Memory
- Traditional Dinner - Haggis, Steak Pie*, Neeps, Tatties, Shortbread and Trifle
- Cash Bar - Wine, beer, non-alcoholic beer and sparkling soda
*Vegetarian pie available: please choose a Vegetarian Meal ticket when booking. (Please note: the Haggis is NOT vegetarian)
Supper ingredients may include, but are not limited to, eggs, wheat, dairy, and nuts: we are sorry but we are unable to accommodate allergies, special diets, or food sensitivities and we cannot provide vegan, gluten free, nut free, dairy free or other options.
TICKETS
Advanced ticket sales only: no tickets at the door.
All tickets sales are final: no refunds.
RESERVED TABLES
If you are attending the event with friends and you would like to sit together, we can reserve tables for groups of 6 to 10. Please send us the names of all the people in your party and we will create a reserved table for you. Please send the information to historyoakville@gmail.com by no later than Noon on Wednesday January 14th.
DRESS CODE
Attendees are welcomed and encouraged to wear a wee bit o' tartan!
